festivals

The summer months often mean vacations, relaxing by the sea, and ice creams enjoyed on a terrace. But for the Kusmi Communications Team, summer also means festivals with friends! The sunny days are the perfect time to let loose at an unforgettable event. Read on to discover our unmissable festivals for summer 2019!

In July I head to Calvi, Corsica, for Calvi on the Rocks! This is the best festival for enjoying the beach, listening to music, and admiring the beautiful Corsican landscapes!

Every year there is something for everyone, including electro, funk, and hip hop, and all in a sublime setting by the water with views over the Calvi citadel.

The best thing is to get a two-day ticket to really make the most of the festival, then rent a car and drive around the Balagne region (with a stop in the listed village of Sant’Antonino).

Don’t miss out!

My unmissable festival this summer is the Avignon Festival! The city of Avignon has hosted the biggest theater and live performance festival in France for more than 60 years!

This is the ideal event for discovering a wide range of artists with multiple talents and leaving with unforgettable memories. The line-up includes dance shows, plays, live music concerts, and more. And once again this season, the Avignon Festival’s program is filled with wonderful surprises, emotionally-charged moments, and lots of laughs with more than 1,000 offers across 133 different sites!

And to top it all off, you can discover the charming city of Avignon, a UNESCO World Heritage Site!

See you there!

The famous American Lollapalooza festival is back in Paris for the third year in a row, and more specifically at the ParisLongchamp Racecourse, on the weekend of July 20 and 21, 2019.

Expect a scaled-down Eiffel Tower, hundreds of flower garlands, countless food stands with several French chefs such as Jean Imbert and Cédric Grolet, and of course a hugely varied line-up! The festival will be welcoming more than 50 artists and international bands from rock, hip hop, and electro genres spread across four stages.

Get ready to sing and dance to exclusive acts such as The Strokes, Twenty One Pilots, Martin Garrix, Bad Bunny, Migos, Ben Harper, and The 1975. The Francophone music scene is also in the spotlight, with Orelsan, Nekfeu, IAM, Jain, and Skip The Use.
