Beautifully wrapping a gift is a real pleasure for some people, but for others it can be a nightmare! But now, thanks to Poudre Claire and Kusmi Tea, you can learn a few simple techniques for wrapping pretty gift packages that will really stand out under the tree!

Idea no. 1: The sweetest thing

Time: 2 minutes

Accessories: string, scissors, Christmas treats (candy cane or lollipops).

Step 1: Use the Miniatures or the 3 KusmiKubes giftsets.

Step 2: Place the candy cane on the box, then loop the string around several times to hold it in place.

Step 3: Finish with a pretty knot.

Tip: To make a straight knot, make a loop with each end of the string, then tie the two together twice over.

The perfect idea for small gifts given to the foodies in your family!

Idea no. 2: Shine bright packages

Time: 5 minutes

Accessories: gift wrap, an opaque ribbon, adhesive tape, thick paper or card for the labels, scissors.

Step 1: Use the Alain Ducasse or Tsarevna giftsets.

Step 2: Wrap the box simply with the gift wrap.

Step 3: Make a label by cutting the paper into a rectangle around 4 cm wide and 7 cm long, then cut a hole a few millimeters wide to put the ribbon through.

Step 4: Create the crisscross pattern by looping the ribbon 4 or 5 times across the width of the gift (the strips of ribbon should have a few centimeters of space between them).

Step 5: Loop the ribbon around the gift lengthways to create a crisscross pattern. Pass it underneath the first strip of ribbon, then over the second, and so on until you have the desired pattern.

Step 6: Secure the end of the ribbon with adhesive tape.

Idea no. 3: A green cocoon

Time: 5 minutes

Accessories: gift wrap, string, strong glue, scissors, 4 or 5 sprigs of Christmas tree, 3 or 4 pinecones (or other festive ornaments such as mini baubles or mistletoe).

Step 1: Use the Kusmi Tea Christmas giftset.

Step 2: Wrap the box simply with the giftwrap.

Step 3: Take 4 or 5 sprigs of Christmas tree to create a circle in the center of the gift.

Step 4: When you are satisfied with the circle, apply the glue under the sprigs to hold them in place.

Step 5: Add your chosen ornaments around the sprigs to create a Christmas wreath.

Step 6: Fix everything in place by looping the string over the wreath on all four sides of the gift before tying a knot in the center. You can also add a label onto the string.

The perfect gift wrap for a green Christmas!
